From a former Sailor/Operations Specialist First Class (Enlisted Surface Warfare) who Retired with 21 years, 7 months, and 16 days back in January 31, 1997, plus I had about 2 months Terminal leave and house/job hunting time. Congrats and Enjoy the Retirement Gunny. My younger son was in the Corps for 4 years. I would suggest growing that Beard Gunny, that is the First thing I did. For my second career, I went after my B.S. and Masters Dgree, along with a Teaching Credential. So Gunny s is said in the Navy, "Fair Winds and Following Seas."
