Memorial Day is for those who died while in military service. Those who gave all. Veteran's day is for all (living and dead) who ever served. A common misunderstanding.
Although I served four years in uniform and another 26+ as a DoD employee supporting the Army and the Corps, nothing I did can compare to the many who gave their very lives for our freedom and protection.
