This just makes me think about all the stories my family tells all the time. My sister is visiting so of course all the old stuff like this comes out.
My parents used to let my sister, when she was 6, go walk down the street to friends, with my 2 year old sister - and they used to go play by a lake. Neither of them drowned. Or got run over. Or kidnapped.
And when I was 2 my "car seat" was the floor on the passenger side by my moms feet for road trips. I'm pretty sure I'm still alive.
My neice and nephews are pretty lazy kids - they go out to play for like 10 minutes and then it's in the house on the computer doing nothing for the rest of the day & the oldest one will play online with his friends, who live right down the street
