There are plenty of rental cars that are nice.. I rented a Brand new Charger - Touch screen radio/ ac controls. Comfortable seats. Ive also rented a new V6 Mustang, and also a new Passat. (the passat was blah for sure). Those vehicles (except the Passat) were fairly nice.
A vehicle is a vehicle, rental or fleet makes no difference to me. I judge a car based off it looks, comfort, performance, and quality.
This one is severely lacking in most of those categories IMO.
