CFD we can debate until we're blue in the face. I'll stick with my way. It's quick and I don't have to kill myself doing a bunch of cardio. I actually enjoy it if I'm honest...maybe I'm just sadistic LOL.

I modify my diet to be more like Bonnie's after I'm at 6-7%. I do the keto to get there quick and it works for me.

I've not lost an ounce of strength and have actually gotten stronger. I'm putting on weight for some reason but the BF is going down. That didn't happen last year so it must be this new workout I'm doing with the pyramid sets where you do about 70% 80% 90% and 100% of your max, then go back down 90% 80% 70% on each set. This is not a one rep max, but the max you can push or lift 6-8 reps. This is the first time I've ever done that work out. It's a killer but obviously it works.

When I'm older I may not be as nutty and hard core about it, but for now I'm gonna stick to my guns. People are starting to ask if I'm on steroids again so I must be doing something right.

As for natural body builders....yawn. Kind of a contradiction of terms really in my eyes. A guy I work with is always telling me I eat too much protein and blah blah blah. He had a high PSA level and rather than surgery or treatment he became a vegan so he's always preaching to everybody not to eat protein and always sending me articles on vegan body builders who I could probably beat in a contest and I'm not even close to a professional. Oh, and no, the vegan diet isn't helping his PSA....surprisingly acupuncture seems to be though.

Anyway, sorry to ramble on...I'm irritable LOL

I did have a friend just compete in an all natural body building competition. His coach is from Bulgaria or some place and had him do keto to get to 4% body fat for the competition. He couldn't even form complete sentences in the end. He was down to ONLY 8oz of water a day the week before and eating asparagus like it was cake. Then the day of the competition the coach had him do crazy stuff like eat sweet potatoes in the morning, then a snicker bar every 2 hours leading up to the show. Body building isn't to be healthy obviously, whether natural or not.
