Yes, the GT500 has a noticeable advantage. If my only worry was beating the guy next to me, then yes, I'd choose the GT500. Of course, there's also a problem here: in this world, there's never a guarantee that I don't mess up or the driver beside me in his ZL1 is simply better than me.
