I think once the shiney newness wears off people will realize they didn't buy thir car because of the bragging rights. Buying a car is about preference and personal enjoyment. I don't like to talk about my car here as it's not the taste of many and very off topic, but it applies here big time. The evo and sti guys used to go round and round all day. The evo(9) is the better performer in almost every regard stock and with bolt ons, but ya know what? You wouldn't catch me owning one in 1,000 lifetimes and i can't even explain why. That may not quite be the case with the gt500 and zl1, as road racing performance is yet to be seen, but how many of you would sell your freaking awesome zl1 if it was just for bragging rights? Enjoy your car, it is a bad mother and if it makes you happy, excuse my accent my french is a little rusty, f*ck the rest.
