I look at it like this. Yes the ZL1 will take the corners SLIGHTLY better than the Shelby but it will not be enough to overcome the brute hp and speed advantage the Shelby has. On a big track like the ring the Shelby is gonna put A LOT of distance on the ZL1. Yes it will make up some in the corners but now all of it. This is just my prediction but it can go either way.
And dont think for a second that there isnt aftermarket suspension components to make ALL these cars much better than factory form.

I don't think it will make the Boss look silly. The Shelby looks to be the better car but there is something about a high revving NA V8. I can tell you my 13 Boss is a lot more fun to drive than my 11 GT500 with SVTPP.
