No, of course I'm not a professional driver. But I will be taking it to the track a few times a year. My goal is to have fun. I'm not going to be setting any world records. But I'm going to choose what I feel is the best all around car for a road track.
Well until the gt500 posts numbers, it is just sqwuaking on both sides. Plus, times at the 'ring are going to swing massively based on driver and climate. Head to head is the only real answer, and even then if it's close enough it is a toss up. Faster laps don't always mean faster cars. The thing that really gets me though is how many have become experts on road racing all of a sudden after watching some videos, but get all caught up on stock tires and tunes. Really? If you really push either of these cars, you'll be on a new set of rubber by next week at the latest. This is not an observation of you btw, just something i have noticed on both sides of the coin. Just remember straights are for fast cars, turns are for fast drivers.
