If it doesn`t run 11.9`s to 12.1`s all day long in the auto then there is something wrong w/ that car, or GM is over rating them or hell maybe they have one hell a torque management in it. All I`m saying is with that much power it should run those times w/ the automatic car. If it doesn`t then its sad and I for one would never even think about buying one.

Thats my old car in the sif 96 TA ported heads & cam, stock bottom end LT1 w/ a 4k stall, ran consistent 11.4`s@119 w/ high 1.4 60`s on motor. It was violent on the launch. Only 403rwhp.

My Camaro doesn`t leave as hard but runs faster. I still have the stock stall in the Camaro.
a zl1 auto surely weighs more than your car, what do they weigh? 4200lbs?? on top of that your car makes roughly 80rwhp more (and im sure the stock ZL1 has a more conservative tune/weaker powerband under the curve/tqmanagement) and even then your 10.8 isnt on stock tires and its easy to see why the ZL1 auto is running mid 12's at 115-116mph. One of them is BOUND to hit an 11.9 but add "all day long" to it would be a laughable exageration at best.
