Well we do know that the GT500 was hitting 11.8's consitently on stock tires @123mph at an event with media coverage.

The 11.9 that is being claimed for the ZL1 doesn't sound like it was recorded or witnessed multiple times and verified as being on street tires by everyone present. This is odd since the car has been tested by multiple magazines recently, and there is not an official professional driver on stock tires time that is solid and witnessed.

This is rather silly for a car that has been tested by the world for the last two months. Seems most are saying the ZL1 pulls 12.3- 12.5 under the same circumstances as yesterday's 11.8 by a hot engined GT500. Erik
