Here is were my story begins, at the end of 2010 I bought a new Mustang GT premium and got a great deal on the car and I should also add I have not had a sports in car in 15 years but I have been riding sport bikes for a longtime. I was getting vary board with riding and the thought was sell my 2009 Yamaha R1 and buy a sports car so that I did. The day I picked up my new Mustang it was totaled 6 hours latter by some ASS HOLE on the interstate, hit me from behind and a tail spin I went into a wall and he was long gone. My attempt for a second Mustang from the same dealer did not go as planned so I said screw it, it was not meant to be so I bought a 2011 Tacoma TSS Sport model for like $25000. Great truck and when I say that truck held its value varry well, 6 months latter I have the Mustang itch and Im off looking for another and found a Grabber Blue Brembo model but the dealer would not work on the price of the car or my truck a and a friend of a friend put me into a new Camaro 2SS I have now oh ya I did not loose a anything on my trade. One year latter Im doing it all over again and the thing that gets why would I give up my 2SS with the RS package when the premium Mustang does not even come close to the 20" wheels, all 4 Brembos and heads up display. I guess the only thing that gets me I did not have that the Mustang long enough to find out weather or not it was a great car or I should have bought something else ?
I have this dilemma every day all day long. Why did I get the Camaro when I'm a Mustang guy?

Well, my story was as simple as I needed a lower payment and work for a GM dealer, so the Camaro was the only affordable sports car option. However, every day I drive it...it feels...weird. Like I should be back in a Mustang again.

In my opinion, your car AND the Mustang are both very good cars. But I'd be careful buying a new 5.0....lots of transmission issues though I know it's not on every single one. Of course, Camaro has it's problems too so it goes both ways.

In the end, nobody can really tell you what's right for YOU. So I say go with what makes you happy. Each car has a feel all its own. I'd test drive the Mustang if you haven't already..see which car feels like "coming home".

I've not gotten that feeling with my Camaro yet, though I do really like the car and it grabs all kinds of attention.

Best of luck!
