yes.... but the law states that they may not operate a vehicle with red beacon/flashing/alternating lights unless its mandated for that type of vehicle.

having a steady light is not listed. they have pretty much the same wording in the SC laws about lights. and ive been pulled for my blue halo's before and took the word for word written law to court and got out of the charges. now I carry a copy of the law book with me. lol
then again, SC had a law against high intensity lights when they first started coming about.... even on cars that came with them stock.
