Anyone that is serious about actually racing on a road course is either going to wait for the next gen of each, buy a Boss, or buy none of the above. The ZL1 is probably great if you want to goof around at HDPEs once in a while, neither it nor the GT500 is a good choice if you actually want to RACE.

When I was "serious" as you put it, I had a real race car. Goofing around is all any of us are really doing in factory cars.
