well I have two of them, they're great cards, the two I have play BF3(very graphic intense game) at ultra settings (45-90fps based on area)

Then theres the GTX 550/560
That are good cards, not as high end as the 480 but they're good

how do i know if my computer can support them?

also, do you think it's the 512MB that is the problem with mine? need 1GB?
