When I do road racing, I treat it just like when I drag race, which is just racing against my own time, because there are always better and faster drivers and cars out there. My first road course I did here in Phoenix at Firebird Main a long time ago, I got passed by a guy running an almost bone stock Miata with half the power my car at the time had. He passed me like I was in coasting in neutral. I followed his line for a couple of laps until he got so far ahead of me I couldn't see his line anymore, and then before the next session I spend a good amount of time talking to the dude and trying to learn as much about the track as I could.

After a lap, yes that is huge. You say you are roadracer so I'm sure you know what happens to a SC'd car after a few laps and that the NA Boss would have passed the ZL1 after a few laps. Don't you agree? 136hp more and corners were straightened out....huge advantage for the ZL1. Don't you agree?
