Yeah, I worked there for about two years. That's true if she were in BP or Facannoble (if that's how you spell it), but he could work at the customer service desk, jewelry or fragrances and have a suit from a thrift shop or goodwill. I know quite a few people who did that. They were considered "retro".
Also, King Cash, speaking of fragrances and jewelry, you could work as a fragrance model (don't ask me why they call them that--you'll never get your picture taken) at any of your stores. They'll get on the rounds of $14.00 per hour, work maybe 15 hours per week, and get a tom of free fragrances. All you have to do is go to a Macy's (you don't want to work for Macy's, it's very different from Bloomingdales) and find out who the fragrance Account Executives are for Fragrance Companies like Calvin Klein, Zirh, Burberry, etc... and get a name and telephone number for them. They're ALWAYS looking for people. Besides, it's super easy money, you meet tons of women, and you get lots of free fragrances. Jewelry stores are always hiring as well, and you start out slow, but you can make decent money once you sell a few items. Again, super easy money. You do want to work for a corporate Jeweler like Jared, Samuels, Gordon's, Zales, etc...
Blue collar, go for the hardware stores. They're always hiring as well. It is a crappy job, but I know a ton of people that are able to make a living doing it. They are not, however, very accommodating to your school schedule. Also, TAG is right about the whole steakhouse thing. Work for a nice restaurant, not something stupid like Friday's, Applebee's or Denny's. Go for more the Saltgrass Steakhouse type. If you'd like a career in the FBI, you'll hate me for saying this, but get in to the ROTC program at your school and continue your Criminal Justice degree. Then do the Army Reserve. They'll work with your school schedule as well. As an FBI field officer you'll benefit greatly from combat training. If you prefer the more investigative route, you'll still benefit from it. Just something to think about.
