living in maryland and being on the highways for about 225 miles a day I know exactly what you are talking about how some cops drive. but I have yet to see anyone get pulled over for speeding up to get out of a cops way. thats not saying it hasnt happened but if you are that insecure about getting tailgated maybe you shouldnt be in the left lane. It's not insecurity, and I was in the RIGHT lane. Tailgaters PISS ME OFF, especially police who supposedly have had extensive driving courses and should know how dangerous it is. If I need to stop fast, he's going to eat a trailer hitch. I don't want to deal with that.
