Honestly, the dealership I got my car at, they knew I was there but didn't approach me, I kind of liked that. The salesman acknowledged he saw me looking but wanted to give me a chance to look on my own. I hate it when you walk onto a lot and get attacked by 3 different sales people all trying to be your best friend. Not everything is about pressuring a customer to buy. Go to dealerships you agree with and don't go to ones you disagree with. Pretty simple.
Also, you have to be the first person I have ever seen who hates when someone asks politely if they can assist you. That is bizarre.
