I personally would not want to see Chevrolet bring back the GTO as anything other than a Pontiac. I mean think about this Chrysler was reportedly planning on bringing back the Barracuda (unconfirmed, just read it in a few places) but they won't call it anything other than a Plymouth which is a name they killed off, but if they do bring it back there is no other brandname it should be, and this is exactly the same with the GTO.

Also look at it this way, in the event GM ever decided to bring back the Firebird (not gonna happen) would you want it as anything other than a Pontiac? I know I wouldn't want to see a Saturn Firebird.
