So what is really the point of your whining? The salesman who wanted to help you or that the dealer had installed items an overcharging for them or the mark up on some cars? Once again, even if all 3, every dealer does it. I would hope every dealer has trained their sales folks to say "how may I help you?" not every marketing tactic applies to all sales profession. I was at a Chevy dealer this morning drooling over the same Z06 carbon edition that has been sitting there or months...guess said, two salesmen came up and asked "good morning, can I help you?". Nearly 50 cars I bought in 23 years, every single one of them likely started with how can I help you?
