don't use any name from the past.. let the past be the past and let those great cars be remembered for what they were. If they come out with a NEW 4 door car that is to be a "muscle" type car, give it a NEW name. Example.. the G8.
Honestly.. think about it. If GM would have named the 2004-2006 GTO something different.. such as G8 coupe.. it probably would have sold better than it did.
I am just saying, I don't think it would be a smart thing to do.
really.. If they came out with a new "muscle" car, and called it the chevelle, I would be kind of digusted. I think of the 70 Chevelle SS 454 we just sold, and a new car with that name just would not fit right. New cars deserve new names.. PERIOD
(obviously the Camaro, Corvette, etc.. are totally different examples, because they have generations etc..)
