I have a friend who just sold his Mooney 20C. Nice plane, but his old lady complained too much about the cost. Funny, now he spends half his time up in Utah at his cabin. Leaves her here.

I just did mine in March and online through AOPA Air Safety. I might try one of those weekend recert classes, but I hate having to donate a whole weekend. So instead I just hack away a couple hours a day for a week to knock it out. The only annoying thing is you have to take tests. Although they're not too difficult.
Too bad about your friend. My wife loves to fly places. Some pilots don't find wives who care and suffer like he did. He should have sold you half a share to cut the costs!
