I can only teach at the associates leve sinc I'm not done with my masters yet. but I've been in my industry for almost 20 years. So, I'm really teaching the entry level stuff. My classes are designe to get them ready for the hard stuff. and yes. Few things are more "figure it out" than accounting... it is a brutal curriculum... I'd put it up there with enineering and a close second to Nursing.

LOL Adjunct just means I am part time... Not a college professor so I don't get tenure with the school... I'm a degreed subject matter expert so I can teach but I'm not real "professor" since I'm not a full time employee of the college.

the Moderator thing... I just got lucky

yeah I really enjoy it. I'd like to teach the bachelors level but I need to finish my masters. I have enough experience to teach some bachelors level stuff but they want me to stay in the associates level... There are a lot more students there and they don't always have enough instructors.

My last tour in the Navy was an instructor gig. I've been teaching off and on ever since. I love it.
