What really, really tears me up....is when we take accident reports where kids were thrown from the vehicle and killed. It's just sad. These kids are young...they don't know...and it's the parents who aren't strapping their kids in at all times. I mean....if the kid takes off the belt while you are driving, pull over to the side and put it back on. If he/she takes it off again, I've got a NEW belt for them. No...I've never taken a belt to either of my boys, but you get the message....discipline. We don't go anywhere w/out them and my boy knows it's "cool" to wear his 5 point "racing" harness....hehe.
And thanks, Mindz. I think you've seen that seatbelt vid before. I'm pretty sure I posted it a while back...just sends a powerful message, IMO.
