OK I finally scanned some pics of the cars and trucks my Dad and I have had over the years.
My dad no longer owns this 69 RS/SS. He purchased it around 96 from the guy who restored the car. It has a Box A title (guaranteed mileage), Numbers matching, with orig bill of sale and orig build sheet with the 350 ci 4bbl and auto tranny. Before my dad bought the car it had won the Phoenix SCS Best In Show and Best Camaro more than once. The restoration audit/evaluation scores a 98.6 out of 100. It had the factory chalk marks in all the right places... We all loved this car but is was nerve racking to drive. It was so clean that we had to jack it up and wipe down the chassis/undercarriage after each ride. And My dad was paranoid to drive it. So since we like to have fun with our cars, My dad sadly sold it. Just to say he owned this car is thrilling. For us, one in a million.
Hear are some of my Dad's other rides. The Jeep had the stock amc V8 that was balanced and blue printed, bored and stroked, and too many other mods to list here. It could climb a brick wall. The white 1/2 ton was a total sleeper that beat enough Vettes at the drag strip, they stopped racing him.
The first camaro we had... Bummer
And these are mine and my wife's rides.
My dad and I built the 97 1/2 ton with money I had saved while in the Navy. She was a 5spd with a small block vortech V8, Centerforce clutch, MSD, CAI headers , catback, free flow cat, it had just about every bolt on mod I could buy. Never went inside the motor. Vanity plate said BRNIN97. The bottom pic of it was in my wife's home town of Seligman AZ. Route 66 is Main street in this little town. This is the longest original stretch of 66 left in the country. Oh yeah and my Wife was Mrs. Route 66 for the state of AZ... I'll have to ask her the year I don't remember. She'll kill me if she finds out I posted that here.
The Maroon Jeep was my first and the green one my wife and I built for her. And she did help as you can see.
Now we have 2005 Crew Cab Z71 and a 2005 Mazda 3 hatchback. Both Bone Stock.
I have memories for every one of these cars and miss them all... I can't wait to experience this kind of fun again.
