I've been watching bone-stock 2011-2012 GT500's on their stock tires run low-low 12's at 118-119 at Gaineville Raceway, so I've gotta think that the "driver's race" is against the 11-12 GT500 stock vs. stock. And these are real-world runs, not bench-racing as we're doing currently with the 2013.
And I HIGHLY DOUBT that Ford's claims for the 2013 Shelby is "Dearborn drivel"... Ford's been under-rating for years now, even the Ford GT was putting over 500hp to the rear wheels on Dynojets with a factory 550hp rating. I doubt they're going to put their foots in their mouths now..
