People also tend to conveniently forget in addition to the 136hp Boss deficit, GM also had corners of the track straightened out to obviously give the ZL1's 136hp advantage full use, but the bigger mmmmmmmmm is, there are plenty of current GT500s around but GM only allowed the media to test it against the Boss. Come on, GM said they targeted the GT500 but yet, they didn't let the media run it against one?

They talked all the smack but when it came time to it, ummmm lets pick on its little brother instead.

2.5 sec difference between two NA cars would be huge after a lap but it is NOTHING between a NA car vs. FI car. The NA car will eventually catch and pass the FI car after a few laps..it is called heat soak on the FI car. People tend to conveniently forget about that too.
