I look at this the same way the now existing ZL1 was rumored to be the Z28.
Also, I keep reading there working on an all new car that's not derivative of any other existing car, but every time the Commodore and G8 get mentioned as being that new car or based on. How is that all new and not derivative?

I would love to see something from Chevy that is all new, and not based on any existing or past name plate or designs. When was the last time that actually happened? And what car was it?
