Haggis has gotten a bad rap. Nobody ever seems to mention the old British staple. The Steak and Kidney pie. Yup! Thats right. KIDNEY. Organ meat. I don't know what its like in England nowadays, but back in '91 and '92, the steak and kidney pie was the equivilent to the 7-11 hot dog in the states. Just what the doctor ordered after a night of drinking in the pubs or clubs. I remember sitting on the side of the road at 3 AM, drunk as a monkey, eating a steak and kidney pie with a white plastic fork. Ah, memories.
