Early this morning, I brought some members of my section to spend some time with veterans on their way to our nation's capital for a WWII event. We had the opportunity to meet some war heroes who served all the way up to Vietnam and even spent some time with a retired Master Chief who served as the most senior enlisted sailor in the Navy for some time. This gave us an opportunity to learn a great deal from the experiences of outstanding individuals who served the United States at a turning point of history. Without their honorable service, the world would be very different today.
I wanted to find out if anyone here on Camaro5 had any sea stories or service experiences from their time in service that would be appropriate to share with their civilian friends on Camaro5.
