j/k....I know what you're saying, its a mixed bag of things. Unfortunately, I think the "plan" is to in time eliminate fossil fuel for cars (or make it out of reach price wise) before the "alternative" fuels actually can turn a profit. Dunno...its a mess for sure!

Is that serious about LA owning coal fired generators in AZ? I thought SRP owned them and sold some of the output to CA. We've got a nuclear plant out west of town that makes a lot of ours. No smoke or anything. I'd like to see more of those. I sent a serious letter to APS, my electric utility, last year asking how they expected to provide the power for electric cars if a lot sell when they are constantly telling us to use less in order to avoid shortages and price increases. They sent a vague reply about being sure that there would be new technologies to generate the power by the time it was needed.
