I agree. What's wrong with evolving a car's style with each generation? Why does it constantly need to be reinvented? Corvettes and Porsche 911's have timeless styling that, despite having been similar for decades, still submit to modern styling trends and implement them seamlessly.
That Evos car doesn't look like a Mustang in any way, shape, or form. Taking styling cues from it will detract from the Mustang's heritage. Worst of all, the rest of cars in its class (including ours) will PROBABLY follow suit.
Somehow I think this has to do with the fact that the Mustang is going global and will have to appeal to a larger audience.
