I love it when they do that. I let them get a few hundred yards down the road and then stomp on it. It's comical. First they think their car is bad azzed, then they realize they are driving a mule. Cannot tell you how many red faces I have seen.
Funny story. Had someone 'play' with me on the highway one night while the wife was with me. She gave me that 'don't you dare' look which just made it worse. I stepped on it and her angry comment to me was "you threw my earing back against my head".
BUT she could not help the proud feeling seeing the jerk watch my tail lights.
