I think it is a sweet feature, personally.

Trying to heel/toe and rev match gets to be a pain in the butt sometimes. Nothing wrong with admitting a computer can do something better than a person can.

It's the same as ABS when it first came out, or automatic transmissions way back when and all the way to modern PDKs. It's grumbled about at first, then it becomes normal.

People are not comfortable with change.
