I can understand the less interest in retro styling but the global theme makes me think the next Mustang will look like a 2-door Fusion/Taurus. 
The sad thing is I see all this happening to the 6th gen Camaro too.

Hybrid could also mean eco-boost (i.e. factory turbo).
Frankly, I don't care if they change the styling for either the camaro or mustang next gen as long as my 6'4" frame can fit.
