Yeah it has the replaceable back strap and grip safety like XDM's. Before Springfield took over the XD distribution in the U.S. they were called "HS2000" and were much cheaper. Croatians make awesome guns if the XD is any indication. I have an XDM9 4.5 and XDM 3.8 Compact and love them both.
