I somewhat agree, but at the same time I see very little conflict between this 44k Caddy and the 30k LaCrosse.
Also ... nobody seems to care that nearly everything from Audi is fwd based, and a large percentage of BMW 1 series owners thought they had a fwd car (no stats for other models). So I think its less of an issue to typical buyers than it is to the enthusiast crowd.
And lastly, there is a supposed uber-Caddy coming, dubbed 'Omega', that will be big and RWD, and probably reminiscent of the Ciel concept shown a few months ago.
