The Camaro was originally referred to as the "Hugger" because it hugged the road when cornering. It's tradition for this platform to be oriented toward track performance. I don't see a problem with that, especially when personal preferences are affordably handled in the aftermarket. That brings me to the list of gimmicky things Ford showed you on a Mustang to sway you. Does a light on the door really sway you toward Ford? Put a light on your Camaro. It's not hard to fix.
You've got to keep in mind when comparing these cars that the Mustang does not use the same technology that's in the Camaro. If Ford can pay attention to these details that interest you so much, doesn't that tell you that the car is overpriced? All that money GM threw at better seats and a superior ride means something. Not everyone sees the value in it, but don't kid yourself. The Mustang is not on the Camaro's level.
