It's not whether it sells less that makes it exclusive it's the fact that the Corvette is watered down with model after model.
Of course it's smart business it's the same model that is being used for the Mustang and now the Camaro, the more models to water down the more potential buyers but SRT doesn't seem to care about that. They want to appeal to the true driving enthusiast the same enthusiasts that bought the first two generations of Viper, people that want a car that they aren't going to see every day. The Corvette unfortunately it doesn't matter if you have a ZR1 or Z06 the car still looks like a Corvette. Sure there are minor changes but that does not change the fact that the base models exist and that was my point...

Exactly.
Viper is way way more exclusive than the Vette will ever be. But if you are talking heritage...well of course the Vette has more.
