Second wheres Fords Nurburgring lap time? Oh yeah they were too scared to tell us the results I guess. And on top of that the new Shelby costs more than a ZL1 to even compete with it you have to pay more money for all the track options.
Just because a car has more horsepower doesnt mean anything I will admit that the Mustang does have weight on its side but even then the ZL1 and Nissan GT-R have proved cars with weight can still go fast. We will see if the new Shelby can actually put all that power to the wheels or not that will be the key. And really this matchup doesnt mean much because its the end of this generation. The next Mustang comes out in a year in a half its competition wont be the 5th Gen Camaro but a lighter 6th gen Camaro that will more than likely give it fits and then some BUT at least Ford will have IRS and not the ancient live axle the Shelby you like so much has.
Oh yeah heres some more education for you. This is an article that compares the 2013 Shelby GT500 to the 2012 Camaro ZL1 read the bottom of the sides views of both cars- They clearly state that the Camaro looks better from the sides and looks almost super car like. Sorry but the Shelby just doesnt look as good but you can always convince your self other wise. Also read the bottom where they say the Mustangs 6th gen is 2015 where it will finally drop the live axle and face a much lighter 6th gen Camaro

HA!!! Jesus Christ dude, relax. You said the Shelby looked like it was smiling, so I posted that back just as a joke. Apparently you can dish it out but can't take it.
Also, who cares what some article said about looks; they're completely subjective. Both cars look good. I'm not going to get into the rest of your post, because honestly I don't feel like getting in an argument on the internet with someone who is so clearly biased. If you like the Camaro, fine, so do I. No reason to be so anal about it.
