I did, when I got the car it was in a bad way and someone had tampered with the ecu.
It was having 31 degrees of knock retard in it, and was rich as it could possibly be.
The car put down only 214whp when I first took it to chris for help.
With an SLP lid only, restrictive exhaust and a generally abused powertrain, Chris managed to get it to 303whp before backing it down to 293 for longevity reasons.
It wouldn't squeal the tires at all when I got it, after Chris's tune it'd peel out, and would squeak the tires when shifting into second. It was a very raw violent drive even for a worn out stock car.
The LQ4 is still being built, but it's destination is unclear. It's a stock bottom end Lq4 bored .020 over, TSP 228R cam, TSP stage 2.5 LS6 heads milled .030. My goal was 400whp through a 4L80E. I'm seriously considering putting the LQ4 in my belair, though it's not in till it's in.
