Guys, the price is pretty much a wash. However, you can get recaros on the stang for the price of the gas guzzler tax on the camaro. They're both great cars and I would be happy to drive either. To me the biggest difference is that the camaro offers an automatic which will attract alot more "casual" buyers. That was a brilliant move. Lets not kid ourselves either. The only track most of these cars will ever see is a quarter mile or the open road between traffic lights. In that regard, it makes alot of sense to make the upgraded suspension, etc an option. Horsepower bragging rights and quarter mile times in this class is what most people truly want.
