I never meant that anything was wrong at all. Killer car for 65K. I think optioned up similar like I did is a good comparo. I optioned the sunroof on the ZL1, rims on both, paint on both, stereo,etc.
I think base-base would be a good magazine comparison, but then every Ford Fan would whine about the lack of track pack,etc.
I think the GT500 has the win in the bag. I'm not sure how Al O. Figures the ZL1 can beat the Stang to 60. Acceleration is going to be the Stang, all the way. All the way to 200mph too. Corners will favor the ZL1, but I don't think the same amount as the acceleration will favor the GT500.
I hope that Ram-air hood test car spotted last fall is something better than the current ZL1.
Unless of course you are like me and you like the looks of the Camaro better. Then, who cares. The thumbs up from all the kids on the block constantly reminds me why I bought what I did.
You want a crazy fast car that is at the pinnacle of the now... Buy the N/A F12 with 740hp! ( no blower or turbo)There will always be a faster car I guess.
