I think Ford's smart to let people buy a GT500 "bare bones" (so to speak) if they want to. You can have a 650-hp car for cheaper than the ZL1, but if you want a true road car with all the bells and whistles, that's available too.
As it's been stated, nav is a complete ripoff on Ford vehicles. You can install an aftermarket nav with an in-the-console setup at a much cheaper price. I believe Ford wanted 2k for nav back when I built my Mustang.
