This may be the law, but I think it goes above and beyond when people on two lanes and even four lanes on the opposite side of the road take the time to pull over when they don't have to. The law only says give right away to the funeral procession, which would be through stop signs, red lights, etc. This law does not pertain to oncoming traffic. I think it could just be a southern thing too.
