All things in nature being cyclical, it gives one pause.
I'm not too worried about lahars (mudflows, that in the past have reached as far as Puget Sound) because I am up high, but those lava bombs (yeah, that's what they're called!) are a little scary. If you've seen the Discovery Channel documentary about America's most dangerous volcanoes, you've seen an aerial view of where I used to work. It's right in the danger zone. I once was involved in a break-time discussion at work about the subject. One guy (who lives down there too) piped up and stated "It'll never happen in my lifetime!" I responded "Wouldn't it be ironic if you were only off by a few seconds on that prediction."
