Diclofenac is a good anti-inflammatory for things like arthritis, but indomethacin is better for gout. It has some unique properties, so it's usually ONLY for gout (and for icepick headaches, which I take it for, and as an injectable in infants with heart defects). Don't forget to ask about preventative meds at your appt - keeping uric acid levels low is key in stopping gout attacks.
