I've just about had it with the conduct of a few members on this site...

All I'm going to say is this.

The 6th gen. Camaro will not be revealed to the public at an auto show. Enthusiasts will have no say in the development. It will be road tested on obscure back roads in Montana, Idaho, and North Dakota. It will be cold weather tested on a glacier in the North Atlantic.

There will be no pre-order system. Each dealer will receive 5 Camaros of random configurations. Anyone who wants one will have to run down to their Chevy dealer and fight each other over the 5 Camaros.


This is ridiculous. I would not be surprised if GM never provides us with information on any future product in fear of being publicly bashed.

This site has gotten out of hand. A select number of members have forgotten that there are GM employees on this site reading every post...and learning from their mistakes...and yes, releasing information early, allowing people to configure and pre-order their Camaros, and involving enthusiasts in the development are ALL starting to look like HUGE mistakes.

Camaro5, I enjoy contributing to discussions...I enjoy providing you guys with the latest GM news...I enjoy the fact that people are free to talk about whatever...but I am definitely NOT enjoying the amount of disrespect and whining that is going on at the moment.

Yes, I realize that you want your cars. I would too. However, people need to take into consideration that these are not the best of times. GM wants you to have your cars, make no mistake. How else are they going to get money? However, GM NEVER promised that pre-ordered cars would be built first, BUT THEY DID PROMISE THAT THEY WOULD HAVE THEM ALL BUILT BY THE 3RD QUARTER.

As far as I know, this isn't happening on any other Camaro sites. The boys at CZ28 are being patient for the most part.

Forgive me if I sound angry or frustrated, but I've about had it today...
