I just ordered a 2012 2LS. Nothing fancy as it is a DD, so I will be waiting as patiently as I can before she gets here. I went for yellow, cause Bumblebee is cute. Sorry to say Cute on a car forum.
I am no stranger to forums like this. I own a 1984 Monte Carlo SS and I am a member of
www.montecarloss.com site as well. I have been working on that car for a few years. Put a crate 350 in her and then got completely hosed on the paint deal. Long story and basically cutting my losses and starting again. I need to rebuild the 350Th tranny and my hubby thinks I should just put a new rear end in and she should be good to go. She fires and sounds pretty mean.
In the meantime, the Camaro should help cure me of my longing to ride in style. I have a few weeks to quit smoking, and I absolutley cannot smoke in this car or the hubby will take it away from me and I will go back to the 02 Monte SS. Did I meantion I have 2 Monte SS's haha. I am a Monte girl, but that Camaro is really something special and I might just have to make room in my heart for the Camaro too. It shouldn't be hard to do, but please forgive me if the Monte influence pops up from time to time. I love them (4th generation) Monte's because they are different and relatively affordable and easy to work on.
